Dark Lies Review
This is one of the most absorbing books that I have ever read. Hard to believe that this is his first novel. I was only disappointed by the fact that there wasn't another available immediately after I had finished this.
So confusing and twisted until the very end. Yet thrilling to find out!
Kept me on the edge of my seat. Just when I figured it out things changed and I had to look again.
Great read, had me intrigued and then it had me wanting to know the ending.......
Excellent reading. Didn't want to put it down. Hope the next book is as good
Kept me guessing till the end. hope 2nd one comes soon.
I did enjoy the read - but I have to say I lost the plot a couple of times or rather it lost me? I like the main characters, but felt like I was missing some history between them? If the author wants to illustrate a past event that lead to this point- then illustrate it fully - it wont take away from the current scenario - by rushing through past events I found it left gaps in the story line rather than fleshing it out. I will get the instalment though- the main characters are interesting and overall they have murders to solve and a relationship to build.
