A page-turning and heart-breaking historical novel about the daring White Rose group who stood up to the Nazis and paid the ultimate price.
Fans of Anthony Doerr's All the Light We Cannot See will fall under the spell of this powerfully moving novel Booklist

This is an extraordinary novel of resilience and heroism during one of historys darkest times.
Praise for The Traitor
This book was amazing. I couldn't put it down it's a great story about resilience in the face of death and uncertainty. It's a look into another piece of history that you may not know enough about. Most importantly, it highlights the evil that plagued its time and how people overcame it and fought against it Danielle, NetGalley

The Traitor Review
This is the second book by this author that I have read. Looking forward to reading more from this terrific author. I am reading a lot of novels about WW2, but I have never come across a novel about the White Rose resistance group. I have read novels from the English, French, Dutch, and Italian resistance but not about the German resistance. A must read.
Historical fiction at its best, tense throughout. Authentic and heartbreaking. Well recommended. This is the second book by this author that I have read and it lived up to my expectations.
